Getting Started with Snow Goose Transit

Snow Goose Transit bus on a sunny day.

How Our Routes Work:

We have two bus routes, each beginning and ending at Lincoln Hill Retirement Community. The routes go on the same loop from Stanwood through Camano, Arlington, and Smokey Point, just in opposite directions.

We can make short detours from our route to pick up and drop off riders who have mobility limitations. We request at least 24 hours notice to schedule off-route detours.

If you are a new rider and need to be picked up from home, we need at least 48 hours before your first bus ride to arrange a site evaluation.

➡️ You can look at our bus schedule here: snowgoosetransit.org/schedule

If you plan on catching the bus from a fixed route stop, we still recommend calling and letting dispatch know. Part of how we make our unique flex/fixed schedule work is by skipping certain low-ridership stops when we do not have a rider scheduled to be there.

Our rule is that we need 24 hours prior notice to arrange off-route detours to pick up and drop off riders. But we understand that life happens! We do our best to accommodate same-day requests when our schedule allows.

How Much Does This Cost?

Our bus service is fare-free! If you wish to support Snow Goose Transit, you can make a donation via the donation box on your bus, or online HERE. (We are a project of the Lincoln Hill Retirement Community aka the Stanwood Community and Senior Center.)
